Flex Fuel parameters added to the 2015+ Mustang GT and GT350 definitions.

Note: These do not have the spark modifiers for Flex Fuel for whatever reason.

I'll be updating the scanner with more DMRs to help with dialing in the Flex Fuel stuff.

So the flex fuel modifier/multiplier value just gets added to the final timing calculation?

modifier * multiplier = amount of timing added?

So question, on the example that was previously posted by Eric. The only things different I saw was the added of the master enable/ disable of the flex fuel. I know it's not that simple as just turning it on. What exactly is missing or is required for this to be calibrated?

For you 2015+ guys, here is a 2015 F-150 5.0L Flex Fuel calibration you can peak at for a reference.

    Eric,

I don't see anything different with this calibration either. Am I missing something?

I have been playing with my new HPT flex 2016 mustang.

No tables for spark as mentioned, but the ECM does easily raise and lower spark automatically, it may not need spark modifier tables for ethanol......?

Also, just so we don't miss anything, are all the tables available in the Fuel tab or did I miss anything in the DTC section I need to enable or anywhere else?

    Thanks again, Eric!!

ok so just making sure... at this time I CAN'T just use the flex fuel enable, and then go put E85 in my tank because there are still spark/timing settings that need to be gone through right?

The 2015+ Mustang do not have the spark modifier tables, but you can get creative and figure a way out to add timing. Or.... just let the knock sensor do it's thing.

There are quite a few parameters added. Min and Max Stoich, under Fuel General is new. The Base Fuel Cold for Flex Fuel, as well as lost fuel tables..... O2 Sensor Bias on Flex Fuel, and a few others.

Has this been added to all 11-14 mustangs as well? Do we have to do a rescan? I updated and pulled a boss 302 tune i had and it didn't have it all yet.

You don't have to re-read the car. We are in the process of adding it to all of the Copperhead PCM based Mustangs and F150s. It will take a little time to get it added.

There is an ethanol spark table to blend modifiers, but no modifiers. Weird.

The 2015+ F150 has the tables (though I haven't added them yet).

    Crazy I know.
