Standalone data logging used to work...?

MPVI Pro, Ver.2.24.649
2000 Grand Prix GTP

I have done a couple of standalone data logs so I know I did something right at one time.

I recently had to uninstall/reinstall HPT on my system do to some computer issues. Since then, I can not get the standalone data logging to work. I followed this: http://www.hptuners.com/help/demos/s...onelogging.swf to a tee. All I get is the flashing red ERR in the MPVI box.

Am I missing something simple or did I break it?

Regular laptop scanning works fine. Connects, records, saves. No problem.

I feel your pain. I read there was a bug in the most recent firmware update that broke standalone logging. The HPT team knows about it but when I saw the message there was no ETA.

Well, bummer.

But why would it work before, and not now? Both times the software was installed from CD. Same place, same version.

Please email support, if you haven't already done so, with a vcm suite infolog while connected to the vehicle in question.
