    2014 5 speed transmission

I have a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T with a 382 cam, long tube headers, 3.73 gears, and a dyno tune. The tuner used HP tuners software. I was told HP Tuners should have TCM support in the next couple weeks. Is this true? And if it is, when? We adjusted the rev limiter up about 400 rpm's however now when I shift at 5700 rpm's I hit the transmission rev limiter or whatever nanny governor crap is in these transmissions and it takes me completely out of gear! Talk about dangerous, I almost got his today because of this. Please, someone let me know if TCM support is almost here. I feel like I have wasted so much money on performance modifications when I can't shift at an rpm that my car is still making power at

It's planned, but it will be longer than a couple of weeks. Can you get the part number off your TCM? It's on its label and starts with a P.

I don't think you have the right module. This is what it should look like:

I can't read the number on it without pulling it out. Is there significance to the part number?

Yes, it will indicate the calibration ID for your vehicle. It's OK though, I am fairly certain there is only one current (and a few that have been superseded). We'll try to get to them in the near future.

So I sent my TCM to HemiTuner to get the rev limiter raised to 6200 rpm's. Now the engine rev limiter is making it to where the car still won't shift past 5800 even thou the engine rev limiter was raised to 6400 when I had it dyno tuned. I was told that HP Tuners may not have access to all the tables it takes to properly raise the engine rev limiter. I am taking the car back to my tuner on Saturday to see if anything else can be done to raise the engine rev limiter. If HP Tuners has any advice I would really appreciate it.

I am having the same problem except the car will hold commanded gear in sport mode but it still hits rpm limiter . I can control rpm limiter in park and neural.

Same here. I can rev the engine up to 6200 in park and neutral but can't shift it at 6000-6200 in gear.

Mark@hptuners is there something I am missing to raise the engine rpm while in gear? If so could I get a pm too.
    Thanks

There is no way yet. We're still developing TCM support.
