Record up to 1.5 hours of continous data, or 32 individual logs (depending on length of log).

When you say 32 individual logs, I assume these are all separate. Is there a way you can start and stop logging (the up to 32 times) and have it build (append) a single log file?

They will be saved as seperate log files each time you hit the rec button.

An append feature is a function of VCM Scanner that is on the to-do list, along with cut, trim, etc...

So we can basically only log one set of parameters each time we go out? I definitely have different configs for tuning different things (VE, MAF, idle, etc). Not a huge deal though...guess I will actually have to put thought into my tunes

yeah it will only be one config at a time. That would definitly be nice to be able to change it though...feature request maybe? hehe
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Make one of the other buttons a step function or something...but you'd really need a counter too to be able to know which one you were on, unless you made an LED blink the number you were on (kinda like a Harlan shift light does).

I hope the black box logging makes it by the end of the month, it's the only reason I'm upgrading. I just sent my Serial cable back today, so with shipping maybe I'll get it back by the 7th. I'm hoping it ships with 2.1.12 and not 2.1.10.

Usually the latest of the latest releases you can only get via the net. I'm sure the guys are pretty busy and have a certain amount of CDs already burned that they send out so's not to waste money on reburning a whole group of CDs then attaching labels ... you get the picture, and then they will send you an email before your package arrives that reads click here to download the latest software .. That's how things went for me and I had zero probs.
