I have a 4.3 turbo project that I am getting ready to start and I have obtained a set of Typhoon headers. The wiring harness I have that I will be putting in the truck is from an 05 Silverado 4.3 and has the 4 O2 sensor setup. Since the Typhoon manifolds have no bungs for O2 sensors, my plan was to run the wideband right after turbo on the down pipe and use that for the ecm signal and the gauge itself. The real question is can I get away with deleting the left front sensor and just turn it off in the computer, splice that sensors wiring into the signal that I will use, or bite the bullet and weld bungs on the manifolds?
