    How does one correlate Scanner TPS% to editor TPS%?

    So how does one correlate TPS as shown in the scanner to TPS as referenced in the editor? I have a 09 G8, and just getting started with the tools. Was a bit surprised that the two tools don't seem to match. For example, the file from my car says DOD only activates below 6% TPS, but I never see below 18%TPS using the scanner even at idle, and the DOD definitely is working. I've got to be missing something. Thanks for the help.

    Worse than that tables like 2004 corvette DFCO TP% are in .39-1.5?....what up with that?

    Wow, from my experience I figured the breakdown was something like that. Gmtech16450yz, where did you find this and is it valid for all drive by wire or only the G8? I'm curious about an E38 LS3 and a few others.

    Cool. Thank you very much Gmtech16450yz! I'm curious where that table comes from as well. The 18% minimum (really 3.x%?) seems reasonable for idle I guess. So this conversion makes sense for the low end, but has me concerned on the high end... I only see a max of 84% TPS logged in the scanner when I stand on it. Is it common to have the TPS max out early (84%, really only 74.x%)? As investigative measure, I also logged Accel Pos (%), it has the same 18% to 84% dynamic range.

    Thoughts appreciated!
