    Logging Knock Retard

How do you know if it is possible for HP tuners scanner (beta) to log knock retard (in degrees timing, not milli-volts), for a certain model car? Do some PCM's "support" logging knock retard, and others do not, or is is in the scanners ability to take the mv output the knock sensors are reporting and "convert" it to degrees timing being pulled out (or added in). I have a 2005 Mustang GT 4.6 and I still have the knock retard PID showing a "broken chain link" on the left hand column of the table. Is it something that future beta versions will be able to log, is it just that I am not setting up the scanner to log timing retard in degrees correctly......or is it that 2005 Mustang GT's will never be able to log knock retard because they just can't no matter what the scanner can do?
