I can not get the drivers to install i have 64 bit vista home and keep getting this
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

then when try to manual install when to try to point to amd64 it says the best drivers are all ready installed but dose not work

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

This is how to uninstall your old unsigned drivers & then install the new signed drivers http://www.thetuningdoctor.com/HPTun...neddrivers.swf

Thanks for the drivers. I got these working perfectly on the Windows 7 release candidate running on Boot Camp on a MacBook Pro. It's good to see things working as planned. I've always used XP (and still do), but I'm trying to test out Windows 7 to see just how compatible it is with all of my software.

    Hello guys,

I am having trouble with these drivers on my new laptop. I just bought this laptop 3 weeks ago and it is running Vista 64bit. I downloaded HPtuners 2.22 and installed it on the laptop. I downloaded the drivers and followed the instruction video from here:

    http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...54&postcount=1

I got channel A installed fine just like in the video, but after that the computer didn't "see" channel B so I don't think it was installed. How can I get both channels up and running?

This is the error I get when trying to poll the MPVI for my license info.

    Thanks, Pete

Follow the demo to determine what drivers were installed & which weren't, then uninstall any drivers that should've be installed & make sure you are installing the new signed drivers.

lol, the drivers are also in our help file in the installation section when can be found by opening your vcm editor or vcm scanner or by visiting our online help document www.hptuners.com/help

As for being a sticky it already is, has been for 3+ years.

Yeah I've brought it up several times but its not a priority considering how readily available they are in the help file and on our forum.

Thats where you can view & modify your drivers.

I cannot get the computer to see the drivers I have on my desktop.
Not sure what you mean by your computer can't see the drivers, did you unzip & install them? If so they will be visible in your device manager no doubt about it.

lol I am not a computer guy either.....
after two tries at loading drivers from a new CD gave up and watched the tuning doctor video. After downloading the new signed drivers and unzipping them, everything installed just perfect. I am using Vista and that video, step for step works perfectly..........

    Thanks Bill.
