OBD II splitter

Wondering if anyone has ever tried running a splitter. This would allow me to run track addict with WiFi or BT device and my OBD gauges or scanner. Just curious if there is any delay or interference. Something like this

Splitting won't work. You can run only one tool at a time.

well that sucks. why in the heck do they make splitters then

They're great if your trying to observe the data stream.. If you wanted to learn tool commands for output tests, or get the key for an ecm the easy way,etc..

They do have their uses..
