Have a scenario that requires expertise advise

2000 5.3, 2 bar OS, Comp Cam 54-000-11 .605/.610 cam, twin 70mms, when we go to start it with all sensors in place it will fire up the die. If we disconnect the O2's and IAT it will run but very rich (wideband not installed yet). The tune attached is parts copied from another file downloaded to try and help as all we have tried gives the exact same result. Please help and thank you.

So we unplug the O2's and IAT and will starts and runs. Plug the O2's back in and runs enough to run the RTT and adjust the VE a little to where it idles and has good throttle response. Plug the IAT back in and the engine dies. Funny little thing that sensor.

Maybe a log of what's happening? Did you get a DTC when you disconnect the IAT?
What does IAT read on the scanner when not running, does the temp seem correct?

I know it read 85* which I would say is correct. I will run the scanner and log it tonight and check for DTC.

Start by correcting the injector data. Your setup has a vacumn refererenced fuel system which means the fuel pressure increases as Manifold Pressure increases. To this take the values in the IFR and Offset table and copy the 0 kPa value(s) across the entire table.

Try that first and see if it gets any better. log the startup and idle with RPM, Advance, ECT, IAT, TPS %, TPS V, Commanded AFR (or Lambda if you are using it), Dynamic Airflow, Cylinder airmass (calculated), Idle desired AF, IAC Pos, Startup airflow, LTIT PN, STIT, STFT B1 and STFT B2.

I would also disable the STFT correction in open loop.

Maybe you have the same problem I did.. do you have DTC's P0101/0102/0103 enabled?

So I have setup a config with what you have listed but dont see STIT listed as one of the PID's. Is this a User defined or am I missing it?

Maybe you have the same problem I did.. do you have DTC's P0101/0102/0103
All setup to 0-MIL on first as we are running SD no MAF.

I would also disable the STFT correction in open loop.

So here is the stock file with the 2bar applied and injector settings as suggested. I did have the STFT's disabled along with the LTFT's. Going to grab the truck to bring here to work on all weekend so hopefully this will be sorted over next couple of days. Thanks and log file should be posted a little later.

Ok so now you are in open loop (first file was closed loop) and yes in this file the STFT in open loop is disabled but not in the one you first posted....changing alot of things from your initial posting but lets see what happens non the less.

Sorry, just want a fresh start with stock settings. Changed the STFT to disabled in the other file just in case I go backwards. I didn't get a chance to log it tonight as finishing the exhaust and getting the wideband wired in ran a little late. Will post log tomorrow. Thank you for helping with this.

Missing the STIT and 2 Bar MAP PID....

Something looks out of wack. Have you opened the throttle blade at all yet. Your IAC goes to 310 (max) and idle desired air to 40 g/sec...way too high on both. Turn the setscrew about 1 turn to start.

Sorry about the MAP, I don't see STIT in the PID list. Am I missing it somewhere? Should be under LTIT correct? Have not touched the screw for throttle but as soon as you step on the gas with the IAC connected it will die. With it disconnected it can rev fine as if nothing is wrong.

You mean the set screw is missing?

STIT s/b under engine>idle and its written "Idle Adapt (STIT)"

Its drive by cable setup per tune file System>Platform. Shouls have a setscrew (look underneath) to adjust the throttle blade when redal is released (Closed Throttle)
