converting 08 challenger to th400 or" manual transmission"-how to make engine rev up

We are working on a 08 Challenger, has the biggest factory hemi crate engine with procharger using the factory 08 ecu. Customer has broken several of the highest upgraded stock nag transmissions out there. Car has been tuned on dyno and at strip by a previous tuner using a diablo handheld to upload the files. The cars engine tune is supposed to be right. Our problem is we are converting the car to a th400 transmission, computer will see nothing from the transmission anymore. The last stock dodge challenger that came in with a trans communication problem would not let motor rev over a certain rpm. we are sure when we are done this is going to do the same thing . The original tuner doesnt exist anymore, how can we get around the limp mode rev limiter using our hp tuners, there is no trans tables in the beta version we just got from them, there are some things in engine tune to turn off MIL, just trying to make a game plan for when we are done. We do NOT want to get rid of his original engine tune and have to dyno this 1000+ hp car over again somewhere to get it tuned right again, thanks, Smitty

Perhaps find a controller for a manual transmission car and copy over all of the engine specifics with HPT?
HPT hasn't had any issues reading locked Diablo tunes for us.

not sure if a 2009 controller CalID / OS would work on a 2008 Car. There were some changes in the operation system from 08 to 09 model year. 09 to 10 would work.

You can set up the ECU to ignore the Auto Transmission inputs by modifying the hardware configuration. What Cal ID are you using?[/B][/B]

The Problem with that is in order to do that you are changing controller family. The 6.1 automatic 2007-2010 are NGC 4's. The 09 M6 Ecu is an NGC 4a. Also the NGC4A cannot process pressure ratios beyond 1.9, The ecu shuts off and its not a calibratable variable

Being the ECU's are a different platform they are not cross compatible.

ECM Hardware: NGC4 Operating System: 68004368AD
    TCM: EGS53 Operating System: 05150240AB

Car is mostly assembled and running now. Limp home mode and transmission protect set, rev limit at 2700rpm in gear. Tried disabling all P07xx codes, no change.

Has anyone figured out how to do this without significant harness modifications and a 2009 PCM? I'm looking to put a TR6060 in my 2006 SRT8 Magnum. Or does anyone know what Hemituner meant by:
