This question seems to keep getting a pass so Ill ask again. Being the same calibration ID is used across different engine families how is the software populating for that family, or is it?
    Thanks

How deep are you guys going into the BCM? If you could map out the DTC's for the TCM/BCM that would be awesome. You would solve the problem of putting a gen3 with a 580 into restomod stuff. The front wheel speed correlation stuff needs to be shut off to make it all work.

TCM DTCs are already mapped and working as of this morning's version. No plans to map BCM DTCs at this time, sorry.

If you are tuning the original TCM from the vehicle or if it's a replacement TCM and it has been in the vehicle already, the tables will be populated properly.

Roger that, I would look at it if I were you guys. The gen3 swap is really gaining momentum and the main trans that came with them is the 580. The cars are 10 years old now and there are lots and lots of these in junkyards waiting to be swapped. Right now there is NO reliable solution for using the 580 in anything other than a stock car.

You can use a TIPM Module from any 2005-2007 Charger,or 300 and an ABS module (just the brain). Works great we use this all the time in resto-mod builds here.

    Hope this helps

does anyone have a stock file that has the trans tables they would be willing to share? The ones in the repository do not have any trans tables.

That file was read wrong, didn't include a read of the TCM in the stock file.

We have read 3 cars with the latest release. Two 2012 and one 2013.
The 2012 did have tweaked TCM modules.
The 2103 Jeep SRT TCM is stock to our knowledge.

In each case the message about outdated TCM calibration comes up.

    What gives?

I have encountered the same issue with several TCM's I have read. It appears that a new version of the TCM software is automatically loaded. I believe this note on the first page of this thread indicates this is what will occur:

"Please note that we will not support some outdated EGS53 operating systems (we will update your TCM OS automatically to a newer/supported OS)."

Like Mike pointed out, if you have an unsupported/outdated OS, we will have to update you to a newer/supported OS. If VCM Suite doesn't do this and you still can't access the TCMs, please email support with your .HPT file and VCM Suite Infolog.

Newbie question. I just downloaded the new version of Beta sofware to attempt TCM tuning but it will not let me re-read the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2012 Charger SRT-8. What am I doing wrong?
