I have a trans TCC slipping code. This is a non emissions code. Can it be turned off like the GM and Ford?

    What is the actual code?

That is not a code that gets thrown mistakenly, I would not recommend just shutting it off.

sounds like it really does have a trans issue.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Do you have an aftermarket converter? Some brands have been known to have clutch issues in the NAG applications.

did you get the code once or have you cleared it and it came back, and what freeze frame data do you see if it keeps coming back?

They didn't make the Challenger in '07. '08 was the first year, and 09 was the first year with the 5.7l. I'm going to guess you have a p0730 or a p0743?
