2.24 dtc readiness states not showing

looking for some insight to this as the only threads on this issue I could find were a few years old with no solutions in them
have a 2007 redline I'm working with that as of today, scanner won't show anything when we check readiness states. doesn't say anything and all lines next to test states are blank.
any idea on what could be causing this?
it was working fine a few days ago

btw he went to scan with a hand held and was getting some weird message that nothing was even in a ready state.....

this is using maybe a 6 month old version of 2.24 that was working fine up until today

Update your software.

try the beta scanner as well. It's going to be the standard soon so might start crossing over to it now.
