    A580 on dyno

I will dyno my first A580 this week, now we are able to tune the transmission to stay on 4th gear during the pull.

Is there a way to prevent autostick to shift by it self ?

I'm planning to change part throttle tables and wot throttle auto shift speed to lower values (ie 1000 seems to be a good number), all the shifting will be bellow 1000 engine rpm.

for information, rpm on the tables are driveshaft rpm, you have to divise the number by the gear ratio to have the associate engine rpm.

I haven't tried yet the autostick wot to disabled. (general) Maybe it will simply do the trick.

    Any feeback ?

That should do the trick as that is what is the main switch for shifting while in Autostick. Not sure why you want to lower your shift tables, just use the autostick to get it into 4th gear and go at it.

What type of car? Be aware, letting the car idle in gear on the rollers for any length of time will mess with the yaw sensors and traction control, itll start kicking on the brakes intermittently and also disable the autostick shifting. Once it starts to happen the only way I have been able to work around it is using the Diablo handheld and put it in "dyno" mode, which completely disables the traction control, ABS, etc.

You can initiate "Dyno Mode" with HP Tuners as well. Just change the "Displacement" value in the "General" tab to "0."

Autostick doesn't kick down, as long as you are in that mode. There is a switch for that as well, same spot as the autostick WOT disable.

4x4 dyno wont matter, if the front wheels aren't turning and the yaw sensor feels no movement with the rear wheels moving, itll go haywire. Best bet is to always come to a full stop and don't let it just idle in gear on the rollers.

I meaned linked chassis dyno by 4x4.

Autostick does kick down stock : if you put your car in 4th let say at 2000rpm then WOT you will have 3th or 2nd gear. That what I want to disable.
Autostick Wot is set to enable stock.

Good trick by Electech I haven't seen it. ;-)

Like Brice said the 300C 5.7 usually make that kickdown in manual mode. From what i see many Charger 5.7 (Daytona) do not do that.
I would love to see a solution for that also

Ahhh sorry bud thought this was an SRT8. The 2006 300C I have is an SRT8. Sorry for the confusion.

Under Trans>Auto Shift Properties>WOT set the WOT to Disable. This will turn off the kickdown (or should)

Will that be only good for the dyno or can it stay like that for normal driving as well?

Should be good at all times, if it works at all. Its not a VW, its not self aware, cant tell when its on a set of rollers or not

Are you using a current 2.25? You should be able to turn off autostick upshifting.
