any thoughts on this? will it hurt anything to do so anyhow?

in the scanner, all I found so far is crankshaft learn?? is there more?

crankshaft is case learn. make sure you follow the procedure perfectly or it won't work.

foot on brake, etc etc? I think it does say complete or something but I haven't done it with the 3.x
It has run well from the get go, even with all the stuff that I changed. Tonite was the first time that I ran open loop, no maf and no stft, and I managed to slowly creep in on a really good vve only tune.
If it were mine, I would probably run it mafless , open loop...it's that close. I set the idle down as low as 450 rpm and it just sits there puring, while jumping between 2 cels ...very nice, so far, especially for someone as clueless as I am with all this.
I have a ways to go yet, but so far so GREAT !!
