This is what I picked up a couple weeks ago to test, but haven't tested it yet: http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-TU-S9...trendnet+tu-s9

The one I have been using is super old and is funky with the drivers.

The software scans for open ports, then tries to connect and communicate on those ports to see if the serial wideband you've added to your channels config is present.

Most of the adapters based on the Prolific chipset should work fine. They are very common in many of the USB - serial adapters.

I have used the serial feature on a native serial port (I use a CF-52 Toughbook) with my LC1 and it was very smooth. I like it very much.

My LM-2 does not have a serial port on it only USB. My Lenovo X201 is also without serial port, if I try to connect it with USB, the scanner can't find the inputs, the serial channels are empthy
Anyone who can tell me my mistakes?
    thank you!

I think you need to use the MTS serial In/Out function of your LM2. The same connection you would use to string multiple Innovate devices together. You may have to purchase a MTS serial to DB9 program cable (P/N 3840 I think) to make it work, if the device doesn't come with one.

Jaime, now I got it ... how stupid. But need to order this cable 3840. Think serial input is better than analog input. Hopefully can config a good working AFR error graph!!

You aren't making an AFR error graph in 2.25 yet.

But I can use the difference between desired AFR and WB AFR for AFR error correct!

Not yet. Math parameters are being developed as we speak though, so it shouldn't be much longer.

No. Custom PID's don't exist yet

You can make a graph(histogram) for commanded AFR.. then one for actual AFR, and then just flip between the two to see differences

And you can make a chart vs. time that has commanded and actual on top of each other so you can see it better while logging..

But there's no way to make an AFR PID right now. They are working on it.

    I hate this scanner
either it don't show me what I need or it crashes over and over again.
I bought the Innovate serial cable and also a Serial/Usb convertor cable. driver>connection> COM port1 all looks perfect. but no serial channel is to see. the chanel disappears as soon as I click the scan button!
If I change the settings to try different settings, one time the scanner runs two times it crashes.
    I could cry!

We can fix the crash for you if you tell us how to reproduce it.

I just put up a new beta that fixes the crash on scanning start that was reported. This should fix your issue.

So I had a few Transmission PIDs a few days ago and after an update I have none. Seems like a step backwards? 2016 Mustang GT....

I found out, the LM-2 send not the real AFR value to the serial output. If I calculate correct than seems it to be 500 beats for 14.7 AFR I set the function in the transformer to (input/34,013605442176870748299319727891)+0 = output.
    can anyone confirm that?
