Trying to change my operating system to 1bar speed density enhanced.
When I select "OS" in VCM Editor (file open), the window pops up but it is blank, I see no choices.
I am using the 2.25 beta.
Any thoughts?

Some computers have no other OS upgrade.
What kind of computer/car do you have?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

What other details would you need? would a VCM Suite info help?
you should have custom OS available for that car. Try using 2.24 instead.
2.25 has more parameters than 2.24, and all the same custom operating systems.
Attach your file and we can look at it.
