2 bar os not working on 2015 vf ssv commodore

I recently read the tune from my 2015 vf ssv commodore and made a few backup copy's.
I applied the 2 bar o's and initially had issues writing (entire write).
It would time out as the acc switch off automatically after 5 min or so.
To get around this I quickly hit the start button and no isssue's.
I finally got it to write but then it come up with steering, abs and all sorts of errors.
I flashed the original tune back in (entire rewrite) and problem was fixed.
Iv'e since used the bet 2,25 and tuned with virtual ve no problems.
Is the 2 bar os not suitable even though you can apply the upgrade?
Ive emailed support and heard nothing yet.
Tune in the car is a may 2014 tune e38 ecu.
Ive attached the tune file with the 2 bar os applied.
Is there any way to keep the acc on longer on a push button start so
    it doesn't time out?

Email support again bud , ive had to a few times using the Newer 2.25 Beta causing issues with TCM'S etc on them and some VZ/VE'S and Licence issues with vehicles that i've already tuned, My interface was fine, i did flash/write entire the original tune back in and then start fresh and didn't do anything else and it did work for me ....Is the ABS Fault coming up when you are hitting the start button? also Take a screen shot of those issues and email Bill...Cheers Bret@ultimatelsxtuning

    Hi brett
All the faults came on as soon as I hit the start button
    and wouldn't start.
How did you get around the acc timing out on push start cars?
The entire rewrite would take about 5 min 30 sec and would time out then lose
communication because acc would turn off.
I found if I hit the start buttom quickly it would keep going not great way of doing it imo.
Is the 2 bar fine with n/a cars? accurate?
I'm finding the virtual ve ok but its a bit more work to get it right with fueling.

Are you using 2.25 or 2.24 editor?

With this I used 2.24 but now using 2.25 for virtual ve tuning which is ok.
I would prefer to use the 2 bar os but I don't want to brick the ecu or
have problems like i was having.
I emailed support and they seem to think there's nothing wrong so i have no idea.
I even descried what happened sent the 2 bar file and original file to them.
Originally I read with 2.24 applied the upgrade and tried an entire write
1st issue was the acc timing out as it took 5.30 for an entire write.
If i hit the button just as it turned acc off it would keep going if not
it would turn acc off and lose communication and write would fail.
The vve tuning with 2.25 and new tune has gone ok but its not as easy to use a normal ve table.
Just trying to get some answers really.
There's not much info and no tutorial on this at all not for late model 2014/2015 cars that i can find.

I'm really surprised that there is a 2 bar OS offered for a car that new. I thought they stopped offering those a couple of years ago.

I don't see any custom OS offered. Are you referring to the patches? Those, by themselves, do not create a "custom OS".

I've seen the custom OS option come up for a 2015 Camaro before. Looked at a 2014 file I had saved from another car and it didn't have the custom OS option.. I guess it just depends on what OS you have on certain newer ones

I thought they stopped custom OS dev. also?

Then it is a glitch. When I open his file, there is no such option. Only patches. They have stated that since the BlueCat tool was released, they stopped development.

Don't think so. And I highly doubt you know exactly what OS's have custom OS's and which don't

Just because it's a 2015 model year doesn't mean it can't be using the same OS from a year or more ago that has a custom OS already available.

WOW. That's strange. I wonder what the reasoning is for that. They wouldn't go through the trouble without a good reason, I would think.

This is the 2.25 but gives the 2 bar option.

Try doing the upgrade/full flash from 2.25 and see what happens if you still need it..

......Mate, Hit the unlock on the remote, and then on the ACC button hold that down for 5sec or more it will say touch the Brake pedal to start don't worry about that , and it will basically go into a engineering mode and it won't have that 5min issue..Cheers Bret
