Have you logged Master Fuel Correction yet....

That PID will tell you in short form which table is either currently limiting fuel or is getting ready to limit fuel.

That will disable your boost fuel table...so if you're using that for smoke control them you won't want to turn that off.

So what do i need to do to stop it from limiting my fuel rate? Adjusting my limiters down to 160mm3 from the max i had them set at has my load logging correctly now so thats a plus It will now measure the percent by how close the commanded rate is now. But im still dropping fuel rate. Got a high speed error on the last run when logging master fuel correction, but the truck broke the tires loose pretty bad went through a couple gears... Any suggestions?

Look at the RPM limit table. You are probably limiting fuel rate based on RPM.

Look into your rpm limiter tables...several in there in Stock form will begin to pull fuel around 2800

    You are commanding 5500uS....

With 5500uS, 3100rpm and 18* of main timing...your on the verge of melting something.

You need to seriously stop what your doing and slow down with your changes.

I didn't stay at a holiday Inn Express last night but I agree 1000% with what Les has just said.

Like i mentioned the duration doenst matter because it doesnt run anywhere near the volume its supposed to since i cant get the commanded fuel pressure to run correctly. If it was i wouldnt be at that long of a duration.

Like i mentioned no smoke, no high EGT, no rattle... nothing... so by upping the PW its just running the same or less fuel pressure for longer but not getting the qty of fuel i need at all.

Once i get help on the FP issue, ill halve the PW which should get me right around where i want to be.

Lower your pulse to a reasonable amount and your FPA will rise

it will because the truck isnt asking for as long of a duration. are you saying that its a diminishing return to go over that?

If you look at saved1 it never gets over 17k psi... is there something also to make the FPR more aggressive?

also stock is 2000us... are you saying that the max amount we should increase the 140 value is 1000us?

also you guys dont sound like jerks i was thinking the same thing when i was tuning this.. if it ever did hit commanded fuel pressure it would put so much fuel in i agree it would melt the pistons..

but i havent figured out yet how to get the rail pressure more agressive.

editing again - Is it possible that the CP3 is the culprit since its not modified at all? i dont remember it being an issue with smarty at all before.....

Ive at this point maxed all the rpm fuel limiting tables out i can find to get it to read as high as 155mm3 but it still drops to about 138-140mm3 by shift point at 3200RPM...

Automatic transmission? I don't have the software in front of me at the moment but I believe this is a limiter in the ecm that will defuel during shifts.

Yeah its an auto. Im also having an issue when u go WOT at 65mph it goes to down shift and sets at 32-3300rpm and bucks. When i log main fuel correction its saying high speed govnr i also get the boost P.F.... Never noticed this new issue of the down shift until last night when i kicked it down on the hwy to do a log.
