I currently have the serial version with 99' car model licenses and 04' truck licenses. So I basically have "12 credits" Right?

If I upgrade to the USB version I will still be able to tune any 99' year/model car and any 04' year/model truck correct?

The reason I ask is because if you buy it new now you can only get enough credits for 1 year/model and 1 specific vin right?

yup, you'd get to keep your 99 and 04 unlimited licenses, and those licenses would apply as upgrade credits for the unlimited car/truck or all

All your existing licenses transfer over as-is..

And, you can use all your existing licenses in our upgrade credit system as well.

Even with the serial interface you don't have to send the unit back. You can add licenses to any of our interfaces without having to send them back.

With the MPVI Pro, yes you would just purchase credits through our orders page and you would receive a new application key via e-mail.
