    2006 Dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi

    Are we able to tune the transmission on these vehicles?

    Last time I tried it could not connect to the TCM apparently.

    The 45/545/65/66/68RFE (4, 5 and 6 speed variants of the same transmission) is controlled by the PCM directly. It first saw use in the '99-00 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dakota with a stand alone controller, which was consolidated into the NGC computer, supplanting the JTEC. The 65/66/68RFE is still in use today in the '16 model trucks.

    You can tune the transmission shift points, you cannot tune the TCC (torque converter). I believe the '06 is like my '04 and Bill said that it would be quite awhile if we ever get it.
    EDIT: after reviewing an '06 file, looks like you guys can't even change shift points - sorry
