not sure if this is still the preferred method of communicating bugs or not, but i found one...
in editor, the smoothing buttons are greyed out when showing differences. I used to use this every once in a while. it'd be nice to have it again.
here's the bug:
1) highlight a range of cells
2) smooth the selection
3) switch to show differences
4) click undo arrow
the values of those cells in the open file that were there before the smoothing, become the difference values of those cells rather than the value in the open file.
2015 Cadillac Escalade ESV, 6.2L L86, 6L80e - AFM disabled
I've had that issue for months now. Not sure why it hasn't been fixed. The "undo" one, that is.
any news on RTT, couple of my customers paid for this feature and (they dont care what happened with software) now thay are angry i cant tune on street that quick i used to and took that money for licences for OS conversion to RTT
best regards
Last that I heard about the smoothing function not working when showing differences is that it wasn't a bug, but working as designed. Apparently, the HPTuners folks didn't think that it would make any sense to smooth things in the "differences" view, so that functionality was purposely not included in 3.0.
Sounds like people do use it though - hopefully they will add that feature back in to 3.0 based on user input!
Same with RTT - it seems that people are really missing that function in 3.0 as well - I have read that it will eventually be added to 3.0, but that it was not a priority becuase it will only work with a small percentage of cars (I think that was the reason).
SO, trying to tune a 2005 GT mustang... Bank 2 sensor 1's O2 is showing .002 mv at best even though I can use my little cheapo handheld and it registers fine. This combined with the fact that Bank 2 is controlling fueling correctly (as best I can tell) tells me the scanner isn't reading...
Also can't find short term fuel trims anywhere to choose from?
Thoughts?

Going back to the 05 mustang, this is what a lot of the new scanner sensor readouts look like now. Is there a way to kill the "auto input" of data yet? Or is there something I need to change on my settings? I know this config isn't setup the best at the moment, just downloaded one of the ones I made for 2.24 then tossed in some of the parameters that actually read for this one. Interesting how I've got bank 1 sensor 1's O2 on there twice and neither read right? Then one of the O2's that I know is working shows 0mv all the time???

What do you mean "auto input"?

Keith,
Have another one for you, i upgraded to the 3.0.64 and i am unable to find any VATS control. I can disable in the OS, but i cannot relink the vats, or change the vin number, or change Vats parameters..
Plz help, my E67 has a communication problem, and it will let the engine crank, but not start. I have fuel pressure but no ignition.
Lookin forward to your reply
The averaging of data - makes a lot of the data received look like the above, unless there's something wrong with my setup? All I know is that I never had this problem with 2.25 or 2.24, so not sure??? And I know it's not just me, because some other people on here have been complaining of the same thing, SO maybe a lot of us have something set up incorrect or it's just something in the scanner?
Not sure Keith...
Thinking back, I "think" I was able to "work around" this somehow at one time, but one of the updates put it back like it was - so don't know.

Yes keith, I am with ghuggins
3.0 is butchering fords. If its not giving no starts, its throwing torque management codes, and disabling abs/trac, or its messing up the code to a point that it will not log correctly, whether using any vcm scanner, or an aftermarket scanner.
no matter what I flash the scanner will always log timing in the 1,000's of degrees, idles at like 1,500* timing, revs to 30,000* timing. I have been complaining about this for going on over a month now.
I know there was an issue with cars previously tuned with sct, however if I load a factory calibration using factory ford software, I still have issues. So not buying the whole sct is causing this excuse right now. I have 7 fords in my lot right now that I am waiting for a fix, so I can actually tune these, not to mention some very angry customers

Me too Keith? I know this problem isn't just with Fords. The GM data will display like this too at times... AND like I said 2.25 didn't do this, so not sure what's different since 3 is based off of 2.25? Getting to where it's hard to rely on the data your seeing. Not trying to be a pain here, just stating what I've been seeing. There's a log on the GM gen4 forum "http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?56677-throttle-position-pedal-position-very-choppy" with the tps doing something similar but not as bad - this is what I typically see with the GM's...

You guys are talking about several separate issues.
Contact support was directed to mbray01 and his flashing issues. We can only resolve those through support.
As far as the values showing averages, you'll be able to chose how chart/gauge show the #'s in a future version. Right now it simply averages teh value between the available data points at any given time.
Channels will always show the nearest exact data point, without any averaging/interpolation.
Also, i'm not sure what exactly you're saying your issue is GHuggins. If you could post a screenshot, a log, and a layout, that would help.
