    E38 intake manifold volume

    I'm working with a E38 controller in a 2012 Z06.

I'm told that "intake manifold volume" is now available to calibrate with 3.x.

I downloaded 3.0.5 last night but I still can find it.

On another forum, it was suggested that it can be found at: Fuel > Transient > General > Manifold Volume (cm^3)

    I have "Advanced" view enabled.
Under Fuel>Transient there are no more tabs, ie: no "general", and there is no "Manifold Volume (cm^3)".

I checked not only the cal files I've been using to tune, but I also checked an un-modified, stock 2012 cal file. In ether case, it's not there.

    Ok.
I see this same question has been asked and answered elsewhere.
I'll wait until it appears in an update.

I know you guys want me to "email support" but...for the record...why doesn't HPTuners just make that feature available for all E38s rather than making each customer working on an engine with an intake manifold change contact support.

Good question Hib. It would be nice to understand the "behind the scenes" reasons for adding, or not being able to add tables.

Does anyone happen to know what the plenum volume of the Fast 102 for the ls7 is? I called Fast and the tech I spoke with did not have that info. He said he try and get it from engineering, but could not promise anything. I don't want to pull it to figure it out right now.

Its not that we can't add tables but misc table requests get added on a case by case basis, we aren't just here to add a table here & there, we are constantly working on new projects that require full attention. Single table adds are more of a break away from bigger projects.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
