Scanner Filter equations don't seem to be right?

    Keith,

I am still having a problem getting my filters to work. I am attaching a simple filter that just doesn't seem to work or else I am doing something wrong. If I set the Temp filter =0 or a minus number the contents display. If I set greater than any number, all the data is blanked. Almost like the Temp parameter is returning 0, but i see and know it is like 190+ throughout the log.

The filter I am trying to apply is FTC<6 and Temp>176F and Commanded AFR<12 to see only the data in PE and not idle or decel....

PS, I even figured out how to truncate the Log output so it fit within the attachment limits....cool!

    Thank you

    Ed M

Have you tried using a generic sensor instead of that PID for ECT?

[50010.242] would be it I do believe

    I haven't used filters much but I figure it's worth a shot

First, try just one side of the equation, and see if that works. See if you can isolate what part is not working.

I know I use filtering for my data, using AND statements as well.

It MIGHT be a bug with entering the filter live. You might need to enter the filter and then load the log, or restart the scanner, etc.. all things to test.

I did that through out my debug process but didn't take good notes. So tonight Ill grab a scotch and do it right :-)

    Thx
