    I've got this set up thanks to the video and the pause button...lol...but I cannot seem to log the actual AFR. I can see the commanded AFR, and I can see the WB AFR, but I cannot for the life of me get the info up from the NB O2's on the car to show actual afr so I can check to see if the WB is working correctly. What am I missing. I go to ADD CHANNEL, and type in AFR and nothing I select seems to work...

    Am I suppposed to do a math channel that converts O2 voltage to an AFR?

    What do you want? Commanded AFR or actual AFR?

    The wideband reading IS actual AFR.

    Narrowband O2's cannot tell you AFR.

    The issue I'm having is that WB gauge is constantly changing.... from 14.x to 15.x. The wideband input in the scanner is showing a more steady figure of 15.2 to 15.5. The two dont seem to be correlating to each other very well. My WB ERR is showing to be 200%!!!Capture2.JPG

    What formula are you using to convert AC voltage to AFR and what wideband are you using? And last but not least.. what formula are you using for WB error?

    The reading on the gauge sounds about right.. it should be bouncing around +/- of 14.7 but HPT showing almost 16 seems high

    ([7101.10]/.5)+12.8 to convert votage to AFR. I'm using ASPX D2 Wideband. 100*((([7101.10]/.5)+12.8)+[50121])/[50121] Error formula....

    I think I found part of the problem... ([7101.10]/.5) should read ([7101.10]/2.94) Then I need to reconfigure my math to get the scanner to equal the gauge...

    The wideband formula is wrong for sure.. hold on I'll figure out the right formula

    The formula just for the wideband should be [7101.10]/.5)+9, or at least that's what I'm coming up with

    If you plug in 0V you should get an AFR of 9
    If you plug in 5V you should get an AFR of 19

    The chart that came with the unit has a minimum value of 7.35 and a max of 22.05.

    yeah so it looks like the min/max it's capable of reading is 7.35 and 22.05, but the outputs are setup to go from 9 to 19 AFR by default, so try the formula I put up earlier and see if the WB reading looks any better

    The error math parameter has something else going on

    We really need to get the WB input reading right first though so that at least that part is right

    That obviously isn't right

    Are you in open loop or closed loop?

    Step 1 - we meed to get the WB signal reading properly

    Step 2 - figure out what's wrong with WB error

    You can log the AFR while driving for a while and graph it.. it should average out to 14.7 (or at least close) while just driving around if it's right. Obviously it isn't right now

    Closed loop or open loop right now?

    REACH THROUGH THIS COMPUTER AND SLAP ME!! I had the switch thrown to the ac side....not the WB side...now its up and running correctly... Lets figutre out the error math now....

    Haha, it's always something like that.. That is exactly what it should look like though, awesome.

    k I'll look at WB error now that that is working

    I love how the service engine soon warning goes off every time I coast. I assume since the O2 sensor pegs out lean, the ECM thinks the A/C pressure is spiking/bottoming out.
