VIN not detected

I tried reading my stock tune and received the message "VIN not detected. Enter VIN or hit cancel and proceed without one". What do I need to do? I have am 05 with the nv5600. Thanks

Ok, downloaded the latest version off the website and was able to read my stock file. Next question...I am having my truck remotely tuned. Do I need to license the tune, or does my tuner license it?

Far as I understand it, you'll need to license the file to your own interface, as well as the remote tuner's interface.
