06GT Eforce disapointing power - no wheelspin

    Hey,
the Eforce 1580 has not enough power - my feeling.
I correct the horrable settings from SCT, but it wont wake up.
Throttle is full open by 62% relative TPS.
I have corrected the LWFM Table and the Maf Airflow.
It runs stock at 5PSI .
    Is this really all ?
My previous N/A Setup had only 360 HP and was close to the Eforce.
With 2500 Stall and 3.73 I expected much more Power....no wheelspin in 2nd.
Can anyone take a look at this?

Most likely heat soak. Take a look at your IAT spark retard.

dont know, if this is the real sensor at log. edelbrock has his own.
even when engine is at warm up, its the same power.
    I log no spark retards.

Couple things I see right away on it.

ETC Max Throttle Angle vs. RPM----- set all to 82 degrees
LTFT Learning Max TPS----- set at 40%
Fuel Base vs. RPM vs. TPS-----Set fuel lambda to .80-.81 you have it commanding too lean
Spark Load Increase Correction vs. RPM vs. Load---- lower table to pull less timing for IAT I usually dont pull any till 130 degrees
ETC Pedal Position WOT Start----set to 300
ETC Pedal Position WOT En---set to 500

You need to log more items like fuel commanded. Youll want to check it all with a wideband as well.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Thanks.
    corrected / check your points.
I think its the low PSI. Other users say with 3.50 pulley theyve got real 460—480 HP at Engine.
Set Fuel to 14,6 and 11,7 at Wot, corrects transient.
Do WB when 3.50 pulley is installed. AFR shows 11,7 this time at 0.84 lambda.

The one thing I have forgotten is the exhaust. BBK shortys and x pipe will drop boost and I think I loose HP.

dropping boost due to less restriction does not lose power.

your running a little lean, also you need to add more PID

    airload
    rail pressure
    torque source
    fuel source
    spark source
    cam angles
    cam duty
    throttle angle
    throttle desired
    IPC error

according to your MAF lbs its looking around 380HP or so

your targeting 12.5 in the attached tune

    thanks for the response...
after changing pulley I m going to a new setup.
I take care of your tipps.

I just want to calibrate the maf failure load table - by logging it is much lower than the stock eforce file.
first I calibrate the Maf, then log the load table and take the max values - is this right?
At last I use WB to set Fuel Base Table....

    no

the base fuel table is a set and forget table. You do not use the fuel table for anything other than setting the commanded fuel you want.

To dial in the failed load table first you need to make a WOT pull. Plug in those load values at the top of the table.

then set up a histogram to plot load across tprel and rpm same as the failed load table. After you've driven around to get some what ballpark data plug that in to your tabl- it doesn't have to be perfect.

Then set the backflow region switch and set the backflow minimum tps to 0 and the maximum to 1023

Disable long term fuel trims and set up a histogram to plot fuel error with rpm on the x axis and tprel on y axis same as the failed load table. Then wait for her to get in to closed loop and try to hold each cell as stable as you can until the fuel corrects. After you've gotten enough good data apply those corrections to the table and then repeat until you have minimal fuel errors.

If you still have the SCT give me a shout and I can help you out significantly. There's absolutely no reason why you can't spin the tires on a supercharged 3v unless you have some slicks or stout drags etc..

    Thanks,
    but for better understanding....

Plug in those load values at the top of the table - top is 0% tps, bottom is 78% - so bottom?

Disable long term fuel trims and set up a histogram to plot fuel error - means STFT , not AFR error ?

Then set the backflow region switch - Backflow low throttle to enaled ?

backflow minimum tps to 0 - means Maf backflow entry (low thtottle) - tps is 100 and axis is 0 or 16.384 or do you mean A/D Counts?

Sorry for that, its my terrible english and the first time I messed with this table.

...by the way, can I also use Air Load for LWFM Logging?

with HP tuners everything is inverse compared to SCT

I do everything in binary in the actual code tables start at the bottom most address (normalizer 0) and work upwards so thats how i refer to them.

but you are correct i just checked and hptuners does indeed show the tables with 0 at the top

yes stft will be the fuel error in closed loop with ltft's disabled

    yep

tp_rel is the pid ad counts is the units. TP_REL is measured in ad_counts

no, air_load is just going to return the value in the table you need to log actual load

What the hell is going on.....

    Air Charge doesnt work, right.

After dialed in Maf and activate the Maf Adaption again, i got lean acceleration in closed Loop.

Do the transient table not work or do I have missed something?

Can it be the Bypass valve, that is close a bit at acceleration and do lean afr?

I have raised the fuel pressure and transient table, but no success....

...the GM soft is complex but easier to handle

Doing a pull on the fly.....

maybe ist going the right way.

load is at 1,47 , a little too rich and no knock.

the injectors are a little slow on reaction.

    thanks for every help....its difficultpull1.hpl

Sounds like your torque tables are not dialed in.

    no help at all....

seems like my fuel pressure drops to 165 kpa.
will work on that, rise voltage to 13.5 - if this doesn't work, a new FP will be the answer.
maybe the rising of pressure will help at tip in at closed loop.
I got time and will find the answers.

I had an issue with my fuel pumps that caused me to replace them as well, that helped drivability. I found that increasing the upper limit on the torque inverse table to 535 and modifying the spreadsheet to recalculate helped a bunch. At that point I just used the stock values and recalculated both tables and my fuel has been right since.

    Thanks for all help.....

    new log seems good.

Need new pump to Keep 270 kpa at higher rpm and load. I have lower inj duty cycle from 110 to 90 % with stock pump.

    0-60mph = 4,5 sec with wheel spin in 3rd and 60-120mph = 5,5 sec (3.73 Diff)

some knock (max 1* Retard) to correct.

The car runs very, very smooth, what may be a course of the TCI converter. That make it feel slow.....

I'm glad you got it sorted.

Torque converter shouldn't make it feel slow, it might make the shifts feel more cushioned though.
