OSMOD - Copperhead Mustang RPM Limit Patch

The latest build of VCM Suite 3.0 has a RPM Limit Patch for the 2011-2014 Mustang GTs. This patch will raise up the hard limiter to around 8200 RPM or so.

This option is available in the OS tab of VCM Editor.

Once it is applied, you will need to set the rev limiter to where you want it.

Typically these cars run into a hard limiter around 7700 RPM. With the patch applied we have tested multiple Mustangs and have gotten at least 8150 without issue (both auto and manuals).

I was BETA testing it for Eric and it works phenomenal.

I tested both Automatic and Manual cars.

    Huge enhancement for these cars!

Do the cams still do as commanded after 8000rpm with this patch? This works the same for manual and auto cars right?

My car lost cam timing in the next gear for a couple seconds if I shift above 7950 or so. Ever car is different though. So when datalogging, just look at cam timing after the shift and make sure it's still solid.

You have a manual trans car. I wouldn't expect it t "revert". Sounds like you may have something corrupt with your files. I would recommend flashing the stock tune back onto the car and starting with a fresh tune using the stock file as the baseline. This may also solve your injector issue.

Just updating since I noticed my post was here. I've taken my gen 1 up to 8300rpm with my limiter sat at 8400. Between one of the shifts, the momentum of rpm spun passed 8400 which disabled VCT for about 5 seconds. But it didn't tap the limiter.
    And on stock OPG.

This is because you have hit the hard limiter which is 8100rpm, the soft limiter is 7700rpm, this patch removes that soft limiters letting you rev to 8099rpm. If you rev to 8100rpm or more, even if its in-between shifts then VCT will disable itself, cams will revert to 0* 0*, and it will stay disabled through out about hald of the next gear if you stay WOT. It will eventually enable itself again but it's anoying and you will lose races by doing his. I usually set my shifts at 7800-7900rpm since you can sometimes get a little over rev in-between gears and trip the limiters. If it's a auto you can try and aim for a constant 8000rpm shift.

Do we need to re-patch and do a full write I assume on currently patched 11-14 cars?
