    Ver 3.0 won't Open

I recently tried to update from 2.24 to 3.0, and after the install, neither the editor or scanner will open. I don't receive any errors or information when I attempt to open them, they just never open. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as downloading 3.0 a second time but still have the same result. This is on a laptop running 64 bit Windows 8.1.

Turned off the file system protection in my anti-virus, and now both programs open. It's strange because usually if anything is being blocked, some kind of notification will be displayed.

Just for reference what antivirus were you using that caused the issue?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Avast Antivurs for me.
But only caused issues on my laptop, not my PC (both using avast - guess one is more up to date then the other)

No issues with Avast, for me. I've been using it for two years.

It will block the SCT installer, though.
