I doubt it given the description of your problem, check the wastgate with compressed air and gauge first. Then pressurise the intercooler and pipe work for any leaks. And don't worry about the "riddlers" responses he does not discriminate!

Haha yeah all good doesn't faze me, I will rig up pump and gauge see what the cracking pressure is.
Pull the line off the solenoid that goes to the wastegate actuator. Blow in it. There shouldn't be any air escaping, if there is, the diaphragm in the actuator is buggered. It's pretty common. Order a new genuine 5psi one direct from Garrett.
