heres an update for you guys...

found out thru EC that GM says the coil packs are good up to about 8ms for roughly 200,000

so you can takle the spark dwell and basically use the vertical interpolate between bounds from where it has less than 8ms and below..
see my pics to get the idea

I changed mine also to see a bit better throttle response, i raised all the values under 5.5 to that value. I may go back down to 5, can't really decide right now.

I forget which multipliers are there, but the ECT based multiplier I set to 1 across the board (so it no longer takes effect). I set the steady state to something retarded like 7000 RPMs, so I could gain control over the MAP based multiplier, and I have it set up so that it multiplies the 95 and 100 kPa columns by whatever amount, so I get the extra dwell when I want it, not all the time.

Granted, I haven't verified that this multiplier is working with my scanner yet

Very interesting, I was just looking at doing these changes on my own this week but didn't have any "safe" numbers to play with.

Look forward to seeing any dyno numbers with this.

The other thing to check would be leads. Extra time = extra heat = faster breakdown.
