2010 CTS-V TCM will not write - Controller unlocker : timed out

I'm about to bring this car to the dealer to have the TCM flashed back to stock to start over.. before i do that, is there an other methods to recovery?

Was trying to help a buddy with some TCM/PCM Adjustments.
Read both PCM / TCM - Made adjustments, accidentally hit write entire on TCM. With that said I fat fingered something and went back to write cal and i'm getting "controller unlocker: Timed out". PCM i reflashed back to stock no help, I've tried to write the stock file as entire and as calibration with no help.

Any help would be greatful, otherwise I'll bring it to the dealer to have it flashed back to stock and start over.

Well. Lesson learned, don't "write" entire, smh
Bricked the TCM. So for future searches if you get this message you're buying a new pcm or tcm.

I would also like to add, I think this is a bug in the software, it wouldn't allow write entire to pcm because vin didn't match, it should have done the same on tcm.

Write entire does not care if the VIN matches or not, for any controller.

Not a bug.
