I have not tried the LC-1, but another alternative is the AEM Wideband. I currently use it and it is a simple three wire install. I made a cig lighter plug for power and have the output source to plug into the EIO, with the harness for the O2 running outside the vehicle. It takes me 1 minute to install it on to any vehicle, plus it has a digital AFR gauge with numerical and "sweeping bar" displays. Very nice for street tuning.

install it in the bung for the o2, you cant tune in closed loop with the wideband anyway

please explain that? I think I would use closed loop to try to get my closed loop afr back to stoich 14.7:1 (like MAF recalibration)

You want to get the VE table corrected before you allow the closed loop controls to steer the AFR's. Then (if you have an additional o2 bung) you can verify the o2 sensors are controlling the AFR correctly and make any necessary changes to the o2 switch points for excessively rich or lean areas.

yeah if you dont tune the car in open loop the WB will end up reading 14.63 due to the o2s switching and then you just wasted $350 on a wideband because its not doing anything for you then. you want to disable the front o2s and put the car in open loop and tune it so you can then remove the driver side o2 in the header bung
