300kw FG xr6t... Is this right??

I Havnt had the chance to look at the tune....even though I don't have to much of an idea of what the look for but anyways.....

A mate bought an FG xr6t, standard airbox, 4" dump, 3" exhaust system, 1000cc injectors, heavy duty valve springs, standard turbo running 19psi tuned by we have no idea who...came with a dyno sheet producing 300kw? Does this sound right for all the gear?

Huddo is correct, what Plazmaman told me is that they investigated it and found it did not make any improvement. Other people claim it is the best thing since sliced bread.

Now 300rwkw is OK if it has the small turbo but so many dependencies like dyno settings, ... I think you will find this post interesting which says the standard airbox is good for around 300rwkw:

Looks like one of Jets tune. The injector data is bad. Start from scratch.

whats the go with tuning a car with HPtuners after its been previously tuned by SCT? will he still be able to use the tune on his SCT Flasher i cant see a reason why he wouldnt

I corrupted an SCT unit mucking around with it and HP Tuners it was unmarried with one tune in it, Herrod advised nothing could be done to recover it and I should throw it in the bin. So be carefull!
