Read tune on same type car?

I tried to read my friends car CTSV tune and now when , I try to write my own car CTSV is says timeout. what to do ? Please help
I only download his tune. --It asked to purchase it, I didn't

try to do compare to your car file . i mean copy a file from your car then make compare between your car and your friend car then change the value to make it same like your friend file then save and load it to your car it will work ...

DO NOT directly write other vehicles tunes to your car. It's a waste of credits if it works at all

The compare feature is built in to help with this. Open the original tune from your car, then go to compare, and open your friends tune. Now you can see the differences between his and yours and go through and make yours match his if you want

If you try to just flash his best case you'll use up another license because that file is from a different vehicle (there goes $100), and worst case you'll be flashing the wrong OS to your car which may not end well.
