im looking to gain some knowledge on putting a standalone 4l trans behind a SBC carb setup. i would like to tune the trans using HPT.

I think it will be a bit difficult to make it all work with factory ecu without all the engine inputs for the transmission, to tune with HPT.Originally Posted by czipar27
You best bet, might be getting a standalone controller. Like compushift, I know they make a good controller for the 4l60/4l80 transmissions.
Microsquirt controller with tps tach signal and output shaft signal. Or tci kit.
