c6 corvette Speed density tuning help

so I have a 2005 C6 corvette that is procharged, heads and cam and long tubes and dual nozzle meth kit and LS3 intake. I started with a regular LS2 MAf and blew 1 apart on the dyno and was maxxing them out. so I swamped out to the LS3 MAF and did a ZL1 MAP sensor. I know its a 3 bar. so I was going to switch to SD tuning but had a few questions. On the 3.0 VCM editor under the OS it doesn't have 2 bar or 3 bar anymore? so is it already built in and you don't have to switch anymore? do I need to change any settings for the 3 bar map sensor?
next ? is I turned off the MAF, pulled off the pink wire off the MAF so it wasn't getting power anymore and when I went to start the tuning process I kept getting reduced engine power and couldn't go over 2k on rpms at idle or anything.

also on the SD tune do I go through and get the idle down like I normall would with the start up air flow and the everything and spark advance or do I go a different route. any help would be great I know there was a write up on the stickies but I didn't know if it was for 3.0 yet.

    Can't run a 3 bar MAP on a 2005 C6 (E40 ECM).

I assume it has heads also? Because an LS3 intake won't fit on LS2 heads that came on a 2005.

    Post the tune for starters

Why can't I just run my 3 bar I already have. The computer just won't register anymore past the 2 bar but the sensor should still work

Because an e40 won't accept the settings for a 3 bar sensor. It's limited to 255 linear and only can use positive offsets. 3 bar needs over 300 linear and has a negative offset if memory serves.

And you're saying it drove a lot smoother originally with the ls2 maf? If so I'm not surprised at all. Get a log and include maf airflow and freq

Your on primarily MAF and it needs lots of work - very rough and your low curve doesn't even line up with your high curve...

Not sure if this is late to the party but using the LS3 MAF on an E40 will need to be re-scaled to the LS3 values, Its easy to change the axis values and data in the 2005 to the LS3 values.

There's that little detail too. Dropping 15 g/sec airflow while increasing MAF freq probably isn't going to end in a smooth running vehicle...

I also wouldn't put 30* of idle spark in it either

VE table wise he just took the original table and smoothed it slightly

    OP--where are you located??
