'15 3.5L F150 Unable to disable traction control

Hey guys. I'm having an issue with my '15 that I can't seem to get around. It's almost like I'm needing access to a function that isn't available. I've tried about everything I can think of here.....with no luck.

The issue is, even though the traction control is turned off in the cluster, as well as pressing and holding the button to disable advance trac, I'm still getting a traction control intervention on a hard wheel spin event. As you can see in this video, it kills the power entirely once the wheel spin takes off really heavy:

Looking at the log, you can even see that the TCS is the torque source, and also you can see the accelerator pedal is still wide open, but the throttle blade is shut down due to the TCS request of less torque:

Anyone else run into this? I've tried setting all fuel cut and spark only torque ratio's to 1/0 respectively, with no luck. Setting traction control air mass to 0 and 100%, nothing. It's almost like, I am missing a traction control air mass value or commanded torque value that can't be seen in the tune.

    Open to suggestions!

    Dang.

I sent an e-mail to support over the ordeal as well. There has to be a drop down or box/table that we do not have access to yet. I literally have tried every setting I can think of. I bet I have over 2 hours total in flash time doing all of that.

It's only on a very hard wheel spin event. Very annoying when you unlock everything else and raise boost to where these trucks can really throw down, not to mention super un-impressive when you get a huge burnout going only to keel over!

I will keep this thread updated with my findings.

And that's why HP is killing the game right there! Thanks Eric.

New tables have appeared in the Editor, is this perhaps what we are needing access to?

No. However you will need to download the latest version 3.0 software. New features are added daily so I download it before each tuning session. Eric confirmed, these drop downs are NOT related to my no-spin issue, he's working on that still.

Has anyone else had luck getting around this issue? I just want to make sure i'm not doing something wrong before deducing that I simply do not have access to the parameters.....

For the time being though, i'm jumping over to SCT's software just to give it a taste......and it never hurts to mess around a bit on the other side of the fence!

    Updates to follow.

Update for this is coming. I've found a method to fully disable the traction control on the 15s.

    Thanks Eric.

The tune I have from the SCT Vendor/Custom Tuner has not fixed this issue either on this '15.

Update on this. Maybe I don't need to be able to do center pivot donuts in my 16 Expedition......but I really want to Slightly more serious note. If I'm not in A4x4 it just spins in 1st and 2nd which would be kind of OK if the TCS did not interfere.

I'm pretty sure you can do this in the BCM using FORSCAN. I had to resort to FORSCAN the other day after changing tire sizes. I was able to select the tire size in FORSCAN no problem. I'm pretty sure I saw traction control in there as well for my 2018 Taurus.

Thanks. Had not thought of that. I think that I also saw it in there. It is one of my favorite tools for sure.
