Attempting to put a file into a 2008 6.4 Powerstroke and get the x7F negative response code error when trying to flash in either the stock read or a modified file. The truck previously had an H&S Tuner on it but it has been returned to stock. Any ideas?
Send in a report and read. It may have something off. H&S does weird stuff to the operating system.
A couple things you can try, too. Did you read both ECM and TCM ?Originally Posted by LPS John
1. Battery charger is a must.
2. Any aftermarket remote start, theft system must be disabled.
3. Pull the fuse that kills the instrument cluster. That alone can cause problems, and no-starts after the reflash.
