bin's you "should" be able to open with the exception of a few...post the bins you were trying to view & get your butt updated to 2.1 in the meantime mang.

the editor is now both the editor & flasher...you shouldve uninstalled 1.6 before installing 2.1

one thing to keep in mind w/files from the repository... while they all end in .bin when extracted... they are a mix of .bin and .hpt.

When I wrote the page I didn't spend much time on the fileupload page... so all it does it take the file you want to upload, generates a random number w/a unique seed, and then calls the file that.bin (123453343.bin) , this 123453343 number is the unique key in the database and the page assumes it ends in a .bin

Then when you download the file you go from my horist.com box (hosted here in my house) to my high speed box (transamws6.net) which is a hosted server

wow...now I know exactly how your networks works...

you might need to write some code to make it say .hpt on the ones that are .hpt...

are you doing manual approval or is it getting auto approved?

^^^ manual approval ... it's a PITA right now , but I'll likely be rewriting it in the coming weeks (learning C#, so this would be a good excersize)

the .hpt or .bin doesn't really matter though (as far as the software is concerned)..... since file extensions haven't really mattered since the windows 3.11 days lol
