not sure, have you contacted support?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
well it literally just happened and figured somone here might know
and now it wont read at all and isgetting timed out..wtf
if you are just reading....not writing
try cylcling the Key off and removing the key...and unpluging interface from the vehicle
close editor and reopen editor. reconnect the HPT interface
put key in..turn key to on position...
try to "read entire"
if that doesnt solve it
then under the help menu in your editor there is a vcm suite info button..click it..get any info you can and send that info to [ support @ hptuners.com ]
also need to know what vehicle...
some colorado guys are having to pull the radio fuses?? or something like that...

Try pulling the fuse for the radio. Sometimes, the radio won't shut up and allow the VCM to go undisturbed.... It's because of the ONstar setup they put in the trucks.
2007 Mustang GT
266rwhp 276rwftlb's. 13.6@104 stock.
Adding a bunch of goodies and shooting for mid 12's.
if your car has been tuned with Hypertech or other handhelds it may show this problem.

Some aftermarket stereo head units use a "thumbsucker" to imitate the communications in and out of the stock radio.
Unfortunately many of these "thumbsuckers" won't shut up no matter what you do programmatically. The only solution for that problem is to power down the "thumbsucker"/radio.

so unplug the radio and that might do it to?Originally Posted by EC_Tune
Is your radio an aftermarket unit? Yes
If it's factory, try the radio fuse.
