Thumbs up VCM Suite 3.2 - 2007+ Dodge 545RFE/65RFE Transmission Support!

With the release of VCM Suite 3.2, 545RFE/65RFE Transmission tuning is supported! This brings transmission support to many more supported vehicles including, but not limited to:

    • 2007-2012 Dodge Durango
    • 2007-2010 Jeep Commander
    • 2007-2014 RAM 1500
    • 2007-2011 Dodge Dakota
    • 2007-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Adjustable parameters include, but are not limited to:
    • Shift Points (All available driving modes)
    • Shift Pressure
    • TCC Apply/Release
    • Torque Management

We worked very hard to get RFE parameters added for most, if not all, ECM operating systems currently supported by VCM Suite 3.2. If your vehicle is currently supported by VCM Suite and you want to tune your RFE Transmission, just update your software to VCM Suite 3.2!

If you have a 2007 or newer Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/RAM vehicle equipped with a 545RFE/65RFE transmission and do not have transmission parameters available, make sure you are using VCM Suite 3.2. If you are using VCM Suite 3.2 and you still do not have transmission parameters or you get a "Definition Failed to Load/Validate Checksum Failed" error, please contact support. Make sure to include your .HPT file and a VCM Suite Infolog in the email to support.

    Thanks!

Will there be an option for turning off the transmission?

Yes this is awesome. I currently have my 2010 ram half tuned with a superchip and half tuned with HP tuners cant wait to tune the transmission properly.

06 and older is the next step for RFE support. However no ETA on support.

I am pretty sure by this point they dgaf about any of us who have a useless tuner unless we want to buy a different vehicle, you know not the one they sold us the unit for. maybe we should sell of our current projects and all buy 2015 rams or even better we should all try to be like everyone else and build GMs.

So, I specificially paid for the credits because this thread said it supported trans tuning. I just read an 09 dodge ram 1500 with 5.7 545RFE and there are no options for transmission tuning ?

I've emailed support but i've not heard back, anyone know the turn around time for a response ?

I've tuned a 2009 Ram 5.7 1500 a year ago, and the R545RFE trans was supported. You probably need the latest beta.

Yes you need beta. I have a 09 Ram that I'm working on and the trans part of the tune only shows up when I look at it in BETA.

How about if you are working on it or not, or if it's planned? I asked almost a year ago and was told it shouldn't be too much to go back and add support for 06 transmission. Is it still on the table?

the only reason i purchased it was SPECIFICALLY for 04 trans tuning. which i asked directly and was told directly that it will work.they knew that it didnt anyway i have asked for a year and they just dont answer any more. i also have a new scat challenger i am not even going to use this for that maybe one day ill decide to be like everyone else and build a chevy and maybe then i will have some use of it.
