There really isn't a performance mode on a 6L80e. My truck only has pattern x and pattern y but everything is on pattern x.
Removing alot of TM isn't suggested on a 6L80e. Just set up or shift speeds and pressure and it should perform just fine around town and still shift quick and chrisp under WOT situations.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
