    Injector Timing

    Good Morning All,

Quick question for those experienced tuners, when adjusting injector timing, if there is a negative value in the cell, do you increase the number positive (i.e. -5 to -4) to create more timing or is it vise versa (i.e. -5 to -6)?
Here's what i am talking about:

This is a stock table from a 6.7. For some reason i cant wrap my head around this.

    Thanks

I believe ford uses inverse logic if I remember correctly. But yes. More negative=more timing advance in the fuel delivery.

    Hey

hope it is ok for me to latch onto this thread

How hard or easy is it to do a DIY car tuning?
I want to learn how to tune my car on my own. My car is tuned with https://www.mychiptuningfiles.com/en/chiptuning-files Tuner now. I want to be able to tune it at the track myself.

What's the best way to get started.
    Thanks

The 6.7s are not like the 6.4s where they are reverse logic. For the 6.7 a positive number means degrees before top dead center, negative means after top dead center.

Not to hijack this thread but how is the 6.0 timing set up? Inverse or normal?

Yes, 6.0 is normal. Positive numbers are timing advance.
