Is it possible to run wideband signal through OBD2 port?

I searched, and found no threads; which really surprised me.

Is it possible to run the wideband signal through the interface?
do any of the pins in the connector correspond to an input?

Im sure it could be done, would require rewriting the firmware for the mpvi, however tht is why they have the mpvi pro, which allows you to interface via the box

I assume you are not talking about using either the EGR or A/C pins to be able to log the signal in your data logs?

No, although i have a pro unit, I am wondering if it is possible to wire in the singal wire into an unused port connection.

I have the AEM 30-0300 guage with the CAN wiring.

AEM 30-0333 feeds WB data over the CAN bus, which is extremely fast and precise, and easy to connect. Only works on CAN based vehicles, though.

It "splices" between OBD port and HPTuners connector and basically behaves as a separate controller that has a few PID's available, "WB EQ Ratio 1" is the one I wanted here.

I'm bringing this back from the dead.

I just picked up another LC-2 wideband that I'm going to use as a portable WB for tuning various vehicles. I was trying to wire the HPT mpvi box and the innovate harnesses running parallel(closely. Not literally wired together) with the little boxes tied close together, with Velcro or some zip ties.. Heck I found a neoprene beer sleeve that looks like it'd fit nicely over both. Lol!

Anyway, The goal is to be able to plug the inputs from the WB into the HPT plug on the side. But there is no key on 12v ignition output readily available to power the WB controller and O2 sensor... Can I simply just splice into the hPt obd2/interface cable, and locate(or run a new wire) for the 12v B+ pin on the obd2 plug, run it to a small relay and activate it with one of the other pins when the ignition is turned on with the key?

Does anyone know which wire can be used as the trigger to activate the relay? Either at the obd2 connector port or one of the HPT outputs on the mpvi interface?(Mpvi connector would likely be the last resort, due to the additional programming step. And I'd prefer a 12volt source to trigger, but think a 5volt will still work fine). And last resort would be to wire a switch into the B+ 12 volt wire and turn it on and off with the ignition... Very annoying.

 i wish i would have read this before ordering my 30-0333. I have the standard interface and wanted to avoid the 'A/C switch wideband" mod. I spent $50 extra on a high tech wideband that I'm going to have to wire in the old fashioned way since my 99 vette is not CAN.

The good news is the analog out is extremely fast on them

Though I'm not sure how fast the AC pressure sensor wiring ends up being

Really wish it'd work on non CAN vehicles...

You could also do serial instead. That is probably worth doing in this case to avoid the whole AC pressure sensor thing

Looking into serial now. Don't have the first clue how that works. Using a Surface Pro 4.

Sure do wish I would have bought the Pro Interface. I cannot for the life of me find a writeup on how serial works and how to hook it up. I find bits and pieces about serial adaptors, pins, cables, and tons of info about Innovate widebands, but nothing on the AEM 33-0333 through serial. I have a feeling that those who have done it were already very familiar with the inner workings and how to hook it up and assumed we all were. I'm telling myself....STEP BACK FROM THE LEDGE....
