    Best place to ask questions?

Since there is ZERO "free" documentation, where/what is the best place to ask people questions on this board? Not necessarily to start a whole new thread going, but to ask simple questions like:

    Chart vs. Time:
Can I display relative time between 2 points rather than subtracting absolute between an event ending and starting.
Example would be to measure time between 20 and 60 mph.

    Thanks

The board is pretty well categorized. For example, your scanner question, probably makes sense to ask in the VCM Scanner section.

Searching existing posts is always best but info is usually buried within.
Sounds a bit silly to start a thread to ask a simple question and get an answer, just didn't want to pollute the forum with crap.

    thx

That's a Scanner question, so ask in Scanner section.

If it were an issue with a specific tune/vehicle, then ask in the section for that vehicle

And.. to answer your question, no.

No you do not need to install a 2015 ecm into your 2012 jeep, simply read your jeep, edit, license, flash, datalog, edit, flash, repeat.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
