W/B as N/B guage wiring

it says to hook the guage up to the yellow wire but if im also using the sensor as a NB will it cause the guage to bounce around like a regular nb? if thts the case im wondering if hooking to the brown wire would be a better idea. hmm, im stuck.. and confusing myself. all advice is appreciated guys

i hve mine connected to the yellow wire, it seems to be reading fine but i think the voltage is off by a little bit. ill have a log up ina different thread
