    How To DataLog 6L80E Slip

I have a 2014 camaro ss, and thinking I might have some trans slip issues. I am logging input and output shaft rpm, are these values supposed to be the same for a given rpm?
Also I am logging transmission slip RPM, how accurate is this PID and how much slip RPM is normal?

Log commanded gear, RPM, TPS at a minimum. You can see when the shift is commanded. Should match the upshift MPH table. Then look at the amount of time before the RPM drops. This is your actual shift time. If it is too long then you have slip or other mechanical issue. That's pretty basic starter.

Did you ever find out how accurate the trans slip pid is? Doing the math my trans is slipping less than 10 RPMs during shift-- but the trans slip pid reads around 800.....
