2007 Saturn Ion Supercharged Base Tune

    Thanks in advance...

Does anyone have a base supercharged tune for any variation of 2007-2008 L61 motor? I know I'm going to need to retard the ignition timing and modify the fueling on the stock tune, but not sure what other modifications to the tune will be required on this platform. I'd like to start with a base tune to figure it out.

It'll essentially be an LSJ supercharger swap, no exhaust modifications right away. Stock LSJ injectors to start with. Auto transmission (4T45). [strike]Also, since this is the 07+ L61, it has VVT and has more in common with the LE5 and LAP than the older L61, it seems.[/s] My stock .hpt looks nearly identical to the one in the repository.

    Uses E67 ECM

Im looking for the samd info haha, keep an eye on your thread too.

By the way i dont think the 07 2.2 had vvt. I had an 08 g5 2.2 and it did not have vvt. My 2009 g5 is a 2.2 with vvt which is the LAP. Which is where i believe they introduced the LAP engine.

It might actually be a 2.4 if it does have vvt as the ion did not get a vvt 2.2 like the cobalt, g5, and hhr did.

You are correct about the VVT, I was mistaken. The 07 did get a bunch of engine improvements based on the LE5, but VVT was not one of them.

I know ZZP and Trifecta have base tunes for a supercharged 2.2 ion auto, but, I haven't been able to see which changes they have made.
